General info: All
pictures, presented in our galleries, have been shot by our team
members during various holiday an business trips around the
world. Herewith we try to share our vision and impression with
our visitors, using "the media, what never lies" - digital
photography. Generally we used
"ist-D" and "K-100D" digital SLR cameras, made by Pentax. Why Pentax? - just
because we like it. We are not related to this company in any
way. We used ordinary 18-55mm
zoom AF "kit" lenses, supplied wit the cameras, under general
conditions. This
lens deserves separate warm words. We have found it nearly
perfect in almost any shooting conditions. The second lens we
have been using, is inexpensive, but really good SIGMA 70-300mm APO
MACRO SUPER. It "paints" superb stunning pictures, even if you
are far away from the object you are shooting.
We have resized all photos to make them close to 1024x768 size
for faster up/download. No other adjustments have been done to
the pictures. Although the photos are resized, we are able to
provide full size files in JPEG or RAW format on request.
Digital imaging has almost completely superseded film photography
at this point in consumer and professional markets. Digital
point-and-shoot cameras have become simple and affordable
consumer products, outselling film cameras, and including new
features such as video and audio recording. Kodak announced in
January 2004 that it will no longer produce 35 mm film cameras
after the end of the year. This was interpreted as a sign of the
end of film photography. However, Kodak was at that time a minor
player on the film cameras market.
Nikon followed suit In January 2006, and announced that they
stop film camera production. Canon has announced they terminate
new film SLR cameras developing as well.
